Woody Ferry, age 76, of Brooklyn Park, after a courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson’s. Longtime teacher and wrestling coach at Osseo Sr. High School.

Preceded in death by his parents, Elwood & Selma and sister, Shirley.

Survived by his wife of 48 years, Jan; daughters, Nicole (Chad) McGuire and Ali (Aaron) Howe; grandchildren, Benjamin, Brodie, Ellis, Nolan, and Molly; sister, Jeri (Mike) Vericho; and other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Service 2 PM Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2^nd St. NE, Osseo. Visitation 4-8 PM Wednesday, September 27, 2017, and 1 hour prior to the service. Celebration of Woody’s Life 4 PM Thursday, September 28, 2017, at the Osseo American Legion, 260 4^th Ave. SE, Osseo.

Memorials preferred to the Lewy Body Dementia Association or a dog shelter/charity of your choice.
