Vivianjune Deanna Keznoff (1941-2026)
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vivianjune Keznoff. She died at 84 years of age at her home in Plymouth, Minnesota.
Her favorite word was "Joy", standing for her priorities in life: Jesus, Others, You; which she exemplified in everything she did. Her generosity and quiet strength were shared with her family and friends, whom she held dearly.
Vivianjune was a very industrious child, taking pride in being able to help around her family's farm. She called herself "an only child with siblings" because the age difference between her and her younger siblings Marylynn and Paul gave her the opportunity to be an only child growing up and then help take care of her siblings before leaving home.
She and her husband Carl Keznoff met at a church gathering. They married on September 3rd, 1961. People often commented on how close they were, after 64 years they were "tied at the hip". She followed him during his Air Force and Engineering careers making "13 moves in 14 years" before they settled in Minnesota for 50 years.
In addition to raising two daughters, she worked at the local school district scheduling substitute teachers, keeping classes running smoothly. Her friends were very important to her: her "subs", her crafting friends and her neighbors.
She enjoyed crochet, scrapbooking and especially genealogy. She shared her appreciation for old stories and pictures with the next generations.
She followed her husband once more to the next stage of life. Carl passed this last December; Vivianjune planned to have him buried on their anniversary. She will be buried next to him on September 3rd, 2026, at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery. They leave behind their daughters Susan Keznoff and Sharon Goodchild and their grandchildren Elizabeth Keznoff, Cody Goodchild, and Brianna Goodchild (Pattis).
