Obituary for Sylvester F. Jagielski

Jagielski, Sylvester F. Age 95, of Rogers, MN formerly of NE Mpls, passed away on October 05, 2021.

Born in St. Cloud, MN to Bernard and Thecla (Landowski) Jagielski. He was preceded in death by parents and 5 sisters, Sr. Anna Mary, Cecilia, Agatha, Gertrude, and Lorraine.

Survived by wife of 69 years, Rufina (Theis) and 5 children, Mary (Fred), John (Kathy), Theresa (Bob), Sandy, and Marty (Stacey); 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Sylvester began working for the Great Northern Railroad in 1943 and retired as a machinist with the Burlington Northern Railroad after 44 years of service. He is a veteran of the US Navy who served from 1944-1947 during and after WWII.

He shared his passion for fishing with family and friends throughout his lifetime with countless outings fishing the lakes of Minnesota and Canada. He also took great pleasure in gardening.

Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church - St. Martin Campus, 21304 Church Ave, Rogers, MN with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment at St. Walburga cemetery in Fletcher, MN.
