Susan Elizabeth Kealy, age 64, of Maple Grove, passed away at home on November 11, 2025.

Susan grew up in New Hope and graduated form Cooper High School in 1979. She married Kelly Kealy in 1979 and they bought their first and only home in Maple Grove where they raised their family. Susan spent her life caring for others - as a proud childcare provider and as a lunch lady at Osseo High School. Everyone that knew her knew that her true pride and joy was caring for her grandchildren. Susan courageously battled cancer for 23 years.

She is preceded in death by parents, Carol & Gordon Peterson.

Susan is survived by her beloved husband, Kelly; children, Katie (Shane) Jensen, Kari (Matthew) Vnuk, and Kevin (Laura) Kealy; grandchildren, Jordan, Kayla, Laila, Kelly, Kealy, and Daniel; sisters, Michele (Rich) Therres and Nancy Angell (Eric); many nieces and nephews and so many more children that she cared for. 

A Memorial Visitation to honor Susan's life will be 1-4 PM Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St. NE, Osseo. All family and friends are warmly invited to join in celebrating the remarkable life of this extraordinary woman, whose spirit will continue to shine bright in the hearts of all she touched.
