Steven Michael Schneider

Steven Michael Schneider, age 64, of Brooklyn Park, passed away peacefully with his wife Mary by his side on July 5, 2025. Steve was born on June 19, 1961 to Eugene & Joanne Schneider and grew up on the family farm in Farwell. After graduation from Hoffman-Kensington High School, Steve attended the VoTech in Alexandria and moved to the Twin Cities for work. In 1991, Steve married the love of his life, Mary, and together they created a warm and loving home in Brooklyn Park, raising three wonderful children: Luke, Jake, and Lucy. Steve loved his gardens, and traveling - especially road trips. Steve was an avid sports fan and was a coach for MN Special Olympics. He really enjoyed family fun nights and game nights.

Steve is preceded in death by his father, Eugene.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Luke (Andrew), Jake, and Lucy; mother, Joanne;  siblings, Barb (Paul) Leonard, Jerry (Mary) Schneider, Gary (Wendy) Schneider, Jeff Schneider, Randy (Judy) Schneider, and Deb (Dean) Solvie; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

The family wishes to thank Dr. Andrew Olson, Dr. Omer and all the staff at MHealth University Campus for their compassion and caring ways.

Memorial Service 11 AM Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St. NE, Osseo, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Please join us as we gather to share stories and honor a life well-lived.
