June 8, 1959 - April 21, 2018

Steven “Steve” Griefenhagen, age 58 of New Brighton. Passed away peacefully surrounded by loving wife, daughter and family.

Steve was preceded in death by parents Edwin & Carol Griefenhagen. Survived by loving wife of 25 years Wendy Vold; precious daughter Ashley, daughter Jennifer and grandson Slade; brother Jeff. Special nieces Amber and Sarah and their mother Dawn; and many other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. David King and the staff at Minnesota Oncology; the staff at Unity Hospital 2 West; and the compassionate staff at J. A. Wedum Hospice.

Memorial service Wednesday, 5/2, 4-8 PM, with services at 6 PM; Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center.

In lieu of flowers the family encourages all memorials to be made to Ashley’s college fund.
