Obituary for Steven Frank Urick

Steven Frank Urick, age 50, of Brooklyn Park passed away peacefully on October 17th, 2020.

Steve was born on December 20th, 1969 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He grew up in Shoreview, MN and graduated from Mounds View High School. He went on to graduate from St Cloud State University. In 2004, Steve married the love of his life, Layne.

He will always be remembered for his witty sense of humor, his infectious smile, his love of sports and movies but most of all for his endless kindness to everyone he met.

Preceded in death by his father, Robert Urick.

Survived by his wife, Layne; mother, Brigetta Quinn; sister, Lisa Edberg (and her husband, the other Steve); step-mother, Tobi Urick; sisters, Brandi Nosbusch (and her husband, Ken) and Cheroki Urick; parent-in-laws, Jerry and Linda Woodruff; brother-in-law, Barry Woodruff; nephew, Tyler Woodruff; niece, Brynn Nosbusch; beloved dog, Oscar; and many other friends and family.

Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM Monday, October 26, 2020, at St. Odilia Catholic Church, 3459 Victoria St. N., Shoreview, with visitation 1 hour prior to mass at church. Private interment.
