Steven Eidem
August 25, 1954 - June 22, 2026
Steven John Eidem, age 71, of Champlin, MN passed away unexpectedly June 22, 2026.
Preceded in death by wife Connie and father Tyrus.
Steve grew up in Brooklyn Park back when it was rural farm country. He spent time as a kid working with potato planting and harvesting at the Eidem Farm and going to the Mpls. Farmers market early on Saturday mornings with grandfather Archie and dad Ty. Always a hard worker he was employed many years as a machinist at FMC, Graco, and Timesavers to name a few.
Steve met his wife Connie, the love of his life, growing up on the same street. They married in 1976 and had two children, Jason and Amanda. After Connie’s passing in 1991, Steve became a single father and devoted himself to his children, supporting them in every way possible. They were his pride, joy and purpose. Steve loved hunting, fishing and his MN sports teams.
Steve is also survived by his grandsons Wyatt and Kayden, mother Marilyn Eidem, sisters and brother-in-laws Kathy and Bill Keller, Sue and Dean Stanton, Wendy and Joel Welinski; and many nieces and one nephew.
Steve always had us laughing at our family gatherings with his humor and storytelling. He will be deeply missed by a family who loved him very much and many friends.
A private memorial will be held for immediate family at a later date.
