Nixon, Shirley M., age 87, of Brooklyn Park passed away on March 15, 2018, due to complications of Temporal Arteritis. Shirley was born on January 15, 1931 in Toronto, Canada. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Percy Nixon and her sister, Patricia Cossaboom. Shirley is survived by her children, Stephen; Terry Conn (Jim); & Scott (Mary). Loving Nanna to Cory (Tiffany), Jessica, Jeffrey, Samantha, Ashley, Ross (Hannah) & Abby.

Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, March 24^th, with a visitation one hour prior to the service, both at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, MN; luncheon to follow. Special thanks to North Memorial Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be preferred to Helping Paws Inc. or to Golden Valley Humane Society.
