Obituary for Sherryl Jean Nordby

Sherry J. Nordby (Bonnema), age 63, of Maple Grove, MN, born March 31, 1954 in Willmar, MN to Vicki & Clinton Bonnema, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2017, after a valiant battle with cancer. 1972 graduate of Osseo High School, Osseo, MN.
Sher loved being a mother and absolutely adored her grandkids. Sher was a peacemaker and cherished time spent at any family gatherings. She worked at Coach, Inc. in Albertville.

She will be reunited in heaven with her father, Clinton and her grandparents, Cornelius & Bernice Bonnema and Orland & Irene Donner.

She will be dearly missed and survived by her children, Kiersten (Kevin), Kallan (Elisa), Karl, and Kyle; her grandchildren, Keagan, Karsyn, Harper, Olive, and Kayden; parents, Glenn & Vicki Gerdes; siblings, Rick (Becky), Dave (Diane), Lane, Brett (Amy), Lisa; and her nieces & nephews, Jennifer, Megan, Cole, Seth, Chase, Cecelia, Rachelle, Ashlie, Dylan, Jack, Mark, and Mason.

Memorial Service 11 AM Monday, June 19, 2017, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 7217 W. Broadway, Brooklyn Park, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.

Our son recently passed away and of course you never expect to have to deal with this for your children so my wife and I were not only devastated but didn’t know what to do or where to turn next.
