Obituary for Ruth Eleanor Donahue
Ruth E. Donahue, of Rogers, passed away peacefully at J. A. Wedum Hospice on November 2, 2022, her 93rd birthday.
Preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, William and siblings, Joan Nims, Robert Rasmussen, Lorraine Schoen, Michael Rasmussen, and Mark Rasmussen.
Survived by children, Mona McAlpine (Tom Weber), John, Cindy (Tom) Beebe, Margie (Jim) MacLachlan, Kathy (Dave) Neiber, Mary Jo, Michael (Kristi), and Joey (Krista); as well as 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service 11 AM Monday, November 14, 2022 at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St. NE, Osseo, with visitation 2 hours prior to the service. Interment 1 PM Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.

Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
