Obituary for Rosemary Madaglene Beert

Rosemary Beert, 91 years of age of Brooklyn Center, Mn. passed away on Sunday, December 10th, 2023 in Champlin, Mn. at the home of her son, Tony.

Rosemary was born on April 27th, 1932 to John and Catherine (Thommes) Janorschke in Pierz, Mn. On February 26th, 1952 she married Francis Beert and together raised 3 sons. Rosemary enjoyed spending time at the Little Rock Lake property that she shared with some of her siblings. Rosemary loved to fish, play croquet, volleyball, bingo and especially playing cards. Rosemary was in the bowling league for many years. Rosemary enjoyed watching her son's play baseball in Little League, Junior and Senior Babe Ruth. In addition to watching the Minnesota Twins year after year. Rosemary was active in church affairs, Fun fairs, Guild, Christmas bazaars, and the Women's Auxiliary. Rosemary crocheted many Afghan's, which she gave away and offered as prizes at various fundraisers.

From 1995 to 2010, Rosemary and her husband Frank, would drive down to Mission, Texas every winter. This was a wonderful time with club activities and a completely new group of wonderful friends to greet every year in a warm climate. Rosemary and Frank also traveled around the United States to visit relatives and see our great country during their retirement.

Rosemary was a great person to be around, she was funny, kind and giving. She was a great mother because her loving son's said so. Even all our dogs named Sam loved her. She loved telling funny stories about her children to anyone who would listen. She will be sorely missed by all.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Alvin, sister, Lorraine and daughter In-law, Tracey.

Rosemary is survived by her husband of 71 years, Francis Beert; children, Brian, Mark and Anthony; by her grandchildren, Callandra (Tim) and Riley (Leah), as well as many other relatives and friends.

I highly recommend the team at Evans Nordby. This past weekend, they assisted as we buried my mom. Twelve years ago, they assisted as we buried my dad. Brittney and the staff are so comforting, easy to work with and compassionate. They make every decision simple, and the whole process as painless as possible. I am so happy that we chose this funeral home, and encourage you to consider using them in your time of need.
