Rose Marie Lind LaVallee

Lind, LaVallee nee Himmerich, Rose Marie, age 75 of Osseo passed on 1/12/2019. Preceded in death by 1^st husband, Fred Lind; 2^nd husband, LeRoy LaVallee; parents, Frederick & Vivian Himmerich; brothers, Duane, Lee & Fred Himmerich; sister, Sharon Anderson. Rose was born in South Dakota and moved to North Dakota in 1949. Started out on a farm in early years and then moved to Kulm, ND in the early 1950’s where she then attended school. She married Fred Lind in 1961 and they moved to Minneapolis, MN. In 1974, they moved to Osseo, MN. Rose was a stay at home mom until 1976 (her proudest moments was being able to spend time with her children and grandchildren), after that she worked for the Osseo School District as a baker until her retirement in 2002.

She is survived by special friend Burton Pansch; her sons, Steve & Mike (Dawn) Lind; grandchildren, Ryan & Adam Lind; stepdaughter, Mary (Mike) Hohn; step-grandchildren, Andrew & Jennifer Hohn; brothers, Larry (Karen) & Gary (Pat) Himmerich; sisters Jackie (Dave) Maass, Hazel Herrmann, Karen (Konrad) King; numerous nieces & nephews & many friends.

Memorial Service 11AM March 28, 2019 at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2^nd Street NE, Osseo, MN 55369, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment on March 29, 2019 at 11:35AM at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery Lane #6.
