Obituary for Ronald Rogers
Rogers, Ronald age 81, of Plymouth, went peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016. Preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Francis Rogers, and 13 siblings. Survived by wife of 60 years, Lorrayne; sister Violet Dunn; children David, Doug (Liz), Diane Irwin, Steve (Ann), Karen (Lonnie Gabrielson), Bruce (Lorri), John (Jenny), Jim, and Dan (Kelly); 19 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Ron made his impact on the world by humbly proclaiming Jesus and changing people’s lives through prayer. There will be a service at Vision of Glory Lutheran Church in Plymouth on Monday, September 26 at 2:00 pm with a visitation at 1:00 pm.

Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
