Rolland Robert “Bob” McCann II

Age 75 of Maple Grove, Mn entered eternal life on June 21, 2026, surrounded by family.

Preceded in death by his parents and brother Michael “Mikey,” and lifelong best friend J.R. Romero.

Bob was a jack of all trades, but a master in the plumbing field from the early 70’s until his retirement in 2014. Bob loved NASCAR, James Bond (Sean Connery was his favorite 007), classic cars and trucks among many other interests and hobbies.

But above all, Bob loved his wife of over 53 years, Barbara, and his children. While Bob said he had many girlfriends on the side, there is no evidence to support that claim. Bob was a tough but loving father to his six children. He taught them the value of hard work, responsibility, honesty, integrity, and to put your right butt cheek on the ‘discolored’ part of the road to stay centered in your lane.

Bob is survived by his wife, Barbara (O’Donnell); and children Rolland Robert “Rob” III, Brian, Katie, Charlie, Bridgette and A.J.; his beloved dog Yogi; brother Jeff (Margarita); lifelong friend Stephanie Romero; along with many, many nieces and nephews on both the McCann and the O’Donnell side. We simply cannot afford a full page of names, our apologies.

Funeral service is to be on Tuesday, June 30th, 2026 at 1 p.m. at Evans Nordby Funeral Home at 34 Second St. NE, Osseo, MN 55369, with interment to directly follow. Visitation will be one hour prior, at 12 p.m.
