Obituary for Roger T. Gustafson

Roger T. “Tim” “Gus” Gustafson, 65, passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, January 9, 2017. Gus was born on December 10, 1951 to Roger and Darlene Gustafson of Brooklyn Center. He graduated from Osseo High School in 1970 and went on to a career as a Journeyman Plumber with Local 15.

Gus was preceded in death by his father Roger, and is survived by his mother, Darlene; his brother, Scott(Jean); his sister, Darnell(Tim) Ostrom; his wife, Char; his ex-wife, Karen; his sons, Willard(Carrie) and Ry(Cherlyn); his daughter, Sarah Neil; his 7 grandchildren; and 4 nieces and nephews

His funeral services will be held Saturday January 14th at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, MN 55429. Viewing will begin at 11am with the service at 1pm. Burial will be held at Mound Cemetery immediately following. All friends and family are welcome and encouraged to attend a celebration in Gus’s honor to be held directly after burial at the American Legion Club, 11640 Crooked Lake Blvd. NW. Coon Rapids.

Our son recently passed away and of course you never expect to have to deal with this for your children so my wife and I were not only devastated but didn’t know what to do or where to turn next.
