Rodger Allyn Kirkeide

Rodger Allyn Kirkeide, 75, of Maple Grove, Minnesota, passed away on March 30, 2026. He was born on August 25, 1950, in Karlstad, Minnesota.

Rodger graduated from Anoka Senior High School and attended Anoka-Ramsey Community College and the University of Minnesota. He worked for many years at Boulder Fabricators, a family business, before making his home in Dutch Harbor, Alaska, where he worked at Unisea for nearly 30 years. Following retirement, he returned to Minnesota.

Rodger loved spending time with his family. He loved traveling, especially road trips throughout the United States, taking in fall leaves, the various countryside, farmland, Amish country, and historical landmarks. He had a passion for music and movies and was known for his remarkable memory for trivia. He will be remembered for his quiet kindness, strength, and sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Audrey Kirkeide (née Anderson); siblings Cynthia, Douglas, Cheryl and Dwight; and his niece Kadie Dahl (née Kirkeide).

Rodger is survived by his siblings and their spouses: Tammy and Vassilios Mihailidis; LeeAnn and Royce Kyriakides; LouAnn and Michael Parrish; Lynette Kirkeide; Jane Kirkeide; Delaine (Dano) and Liz Kirkeide; Arlyn and Jenny Kirkeide; and Gary and Janelle Kirkeide, along with many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Heifer International at heifer.org – Rodger’s favorite charity.

Services will be held at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home in Osseo, Minnesota on Friday April 3, 2026; visitation 10:00am and services and 11:00am. He will be remembered for his quiet kindness, strength, and sense of humor.
