Obituary for Robert "Bob" Krois

Robert “Bob” Krois, age 89, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2018. Bob was born on November 19, 1928 in Elk River, MN. He grew up with his family on his grandfather’s farm. Later, he married Rita Mae Trombley at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Osseo, MN. They were married for 66 years. He worked for the City of Osseo for 20 years and was a member of the Osseo Lions Club.

Bob is survived by his wife, Rita; children, Nancy (Steven) Merrifield, Donald (Carol) Krois, Kathleen (Jerry) Long, Susan Pace, and Denise (Scott) Vangstad; daughter-in-law, Linda Krois; 14 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; and 33 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his son, Jerry Krois; parents, John & Margaret Krois; brother, Ralph Krois; and sister, Violet (Krois) Thomas.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93rd Ave. N., Brooklyn Park, with visitation 1 hour prior to mass at church. Interment St. Vincent’s Cemetery.
