April 23, 1937 - September 17, 2025

Rita Leone Parvey, age 88, passed away on September 17, 2025, at Brookdale Plymouth memory care after several years struggling with dementia. Throughout that battle she continued to carry her great sense of humor and positive attitude. She was still knitting until she could not knit anymore. A true sports fan who loved her Minnesota gopher hockey and football teams as well as the Minnesota Vikings. She loved her family, friends, her neighbors, the U of M and especially animals.

Preceded in death by parents, Orville & Sophie Miller; infant daughter, Charlene; sisters, Geraldine & Vera; son-in-law, Dale.

Survived by sister, Faye; daughters, Elaine & Christine; grandchildren, Charlene (Adam), Michael, Stephanie (Jeremy), Kimberly (Nick), Tess (Tyler); great-grandchildren, Kevin, Kori Mae, Ella, Gavin, Cassandra, Chelsea, Caitlin, Nick Jr., David, Frances Lou, Finley Leone.

Celebration of Life Service at 3PM Friday, Oct. 3, 2025 at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2^nd Street NE, Osseo with visitation starting at 2PM. A luncheon will be held at 4:30pm at the Osseo American Legion, 260 4^th Ave SE, Osseo, MN.
