Obituary for Paulette M. Flaherty

Paulette Marie Flaherty, age 78 of Brooklyn Park, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. Preceded in death by her Father (Andrew Champeau), Mother (Marie Champeau), and Sister (Gloria Bombardier). Paulette is survived by and will be missed dearly by her Husband of 57 years, Francis; Son Andrew, Daughter-in-law Laura, Grandchildren Reagan and Myles, and countless family and friends. Paulette was born in Red Lake Falls MN in 1942. She was an active member of her high school excelling in band and academic pursuits and was the Homecoming queen of her Senior Class. She was a lifelong devote Catholic beginning at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and later at St. Vincent’s De Paul in Osseo MN. As a Wife and Mother, Paulette was selfless in her caring for her family, which also extended to many in her neighborhood and community. She was also a lover of animals which she developed at an early age and carried throughout her entire life caring for many dogs, cats, and many other of God's creatures. It’s rare that you meet someone who is so kind and giving of themselves for the betterment of those around her and for this, and many other wonderful attributes, Paulette will always be remembered and cherished by those that knew and loved her. A celebration of Paulette’s life will be held at St. Vincent De Paul Church, 9100 93rd Ave, Brooklyn Park, MN on June 21, 2021 at 10 a.m. with visitation the hour prior.
