Orville Hanken, age 83 of Maple Grove, MN, passed away peacefully at his home on June 12, 2020 with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Agnes Hanken, and six brothers, Cyril, Donald, Vern, Roger, Gervase and Alan. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. His faith, family and friends were most important to him. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Germaine; daughters Julie, Kathy (Phil Spevacek); son Dale (Gina); sister Inez Gallinaro; grandchildren Kyle (Ellen), Craig (Sara), Kevin, Alec, Evan and Grace; and great grandchildren Sloan, Elliot, and Owen. Orville had a strong work ethic and was the founder of Duo-Tec Tool Company, a successful manufacturing business which is carried on by his family today. He will be remembered for his generosity, kindness and devotion to his family. A private family funeral will be held at a later date.
These people are wonderful. They went over and above in every possible way to help us with funeral arrangements, the visitation, service and burial, despite the fact that we had a limited budget.
