October 22, 1931 - March 28, 2025

Age 93 of Brooklyn Center, passed away peacefully at home on March 28, 2025. He was born in Petersburg, ND on October 22, 1931. After serving in the Air Force and attending North Dakota State School of Science, he married DeLaine Olson on July 6, 1958. He raised four children while working at Honeywell as an electronics technician. Odean also combined his wonderful talents and industrious work ethic to accomplish many home projects for his family. Beyond repairing anything electrical, you could find him under the hood of the family car fixing a faulty transmission, building an extra basement bedroom for his sons, or patiently baiting fishing hooks for his children. His love was evident in every task he undertook. He loved animals, fishing, music, polka dancing, Norwegian delicacies, and his family. Preceded in death by beloved wife, DeLaine. Survived by children Cindy Traub (Peter Moore), Collette Mork, Randy Mork, and Phil (Rachel) Mork; grandchildren Amy (Jake) Kershaw, Brandon Mork (Kristen Bagley), Katie Traub (Lisa Mayer), Sara Traub, Ari Mork (Lauren McConnell) and Sophie Mork; and great-grandchild Nora Kershaw. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to any animal welfare organization. A private family service was held at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
