Obituary for Nels Sprouls
It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Nels in his home in Brooklyn Center, after a long and courageous battles with cancer, surrounded by his beloved friends and family on September 10, 2018.
He drove millions of miles as an owner/operator truck driver for over 50 years.
Preceded in death by wife, Irene.
Survived by children, Greg Sprouls and Lisa (Joe) Gallagher; grandchildren, Melia Gallagher and Paul (Amy) Gallagher; great grandchildren, Wyatt and Grace; and siblings, Derrrel, Kenneth, Darlene, Vilene, and Leona.
Memorial Service 12 noon Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St. NE, Osseo, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society.

Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
