Nathan Engebritson
April 18, 1993 - June 20, 2026
Nathan George Engebritson, age 33, of Champlin, Minnesota passed away unexpectedly on June 20th 2026, at home.
Born on April 18th, 1993 in St. Cloud, Nathan was the beloved son of Julie Bromenschenkel and Brian Engebritson. He spent his life known for his kindness, loyalty and many friendships. He was incredibly witty and could make anyone around him laugh. Most of all, he was an amazing father to his daughter, Belle, whom he loved with all his heart. He attended Champlin Park High School and worked for many years at JL Schwieters building trusses.
Nate was passionate about his family first and foremost. Everything he did revolved around them. He loved bringing his dog, Gotti, to the Elm Creek Dog Park. He enjoyed hiking, frisbee golf, fishing, hunting at The Shack with his uncles and cousins, scootering around town on his new electric scooter, and watching live music with a beer in hand. He will be remembered for how much he loved his family and especially his daughter, Belle. She was the center of his universe ever since the day she was born. He was and forever will be incredibly proud of her and everything she does. He was a wonderful friend, often being the outspoken one who would stand up for someone being talked about. He was extremely excited for his up coming wedding to Emily on September 5th. He loved his wedding band so much he would often wear it even though the wedding was a couple months away. To those who knew him, the loss of his life is immeasurable and he will be greatly missed for eternity.
He is survived by his fiancee', Emily Tupa; his daughters, Belle Engebritson and Sophia Vossen; his mother. Julie Bromenschenkel (Mike Scherber); his father, Brian (Debbie) Engebritson; his siblings, Allison (Patrick) Dooley, Charles Engebritson, and Ben Adams; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins that he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Mike & Lynn Engebritson and Dennis & Annette Bromenschenkel; as well as his beloved uncle, Kurt Engebritson, who he shared a uniquely close and special bond with.
His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A visitation will be held on July 7th, 2026 at Grace Fellowship Church in Brooklyn Park, MN at 10 a.m. followed by the memorial service at 11:30 and a light lunch immediately following. A social gathering will also be held following the luncheon at Willy McCoys in Champlin.
