In Loving Memory of Michael “Mac” McNeely

Michael “Mac” McNeely passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025 at the age of 76. 

Mac, originally from St. Cloud, MN, graduated from Osseo Senior High School in 1967.  Soon after, he honorably served his country in the Vietnam War.  Upon his return, Mac enjoyed a long, successful career as a real estate agent in the Minneapolis area, while also managing his own snowplow and landscaping businesses.  Outside of work, Mac was always the life of the party, and he made friends wherever he went.  He would always help a friend in need and being surrounded by his friends and family was truly what put that big smile on his face – he made life a little more entertaining for all that had the pleasure of knowing him.

He was married to Mary Kelly for 24 years and together they built a life full of fun and family memories, living in the Osseo-Maple Grove area.  Later, he shared a special companionship with his dear friend Patti, whose care and friendship truly brightened his days.

Mac was a proud and loving father to Meghan (Patrick) and Nicki (Pete), and his five grandchildren – Liam, Declan, Jonathan (Shelby), Kendall (Luke), and Jackson.  He is also survived by three brothers, Tom (Bev), Pat (Mert), and Bill (Barb), brother-in-law Patrick Dingmann, as well as many nieces and nephews who were all very special to him.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Dingmann, and his mother and father, Pinky and Mick.

His family and friends will gather for a celebration of life on Monday, June 23rd, 2025 at the Osseo/Maple Grove Legion Hall, with visitation beginning at 11am, service at 12pm and lunch to follow.
