Michael John Sarych

January 22, 1952 - March 25, 2026

Age 74, of Maple Grove, passed away on March 25, 2026, in The Villages, FL.

Michael owned and operated Sarge's Auto Body in Brooklyn Park for nearly 40 years. He was a beloved member of his community and will be greatly missed. When Friday night rolled around, Michael could be found enjoying happy hour, sharing laughter and stories with friends. He loved playing cards, a game of cribbage, or playing bingo with family and friends. An avid fan of anything with an engine, Michael had a unique bond with the machines he loved, which was reflected through much of his life.

Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Lucille Sarych; and brother, James "Jim" Sarych.

Survived by his children, Molly Sarych, and Timothy "Tim" Sarych; siblings, David Sarych, Cathy Schapiro, Florence "Frosty" Hickman, and Joseph "Joe" Sarych; significant other of over 25 years, Patricia "Pat" Audette; and many other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 11AM at Christ our Light Catholic Parish, 11700 293rd Ave NW, Princeton. Visitation at 10:30AM.

A Celebration of Life Happy Hour on Saturday, April 25th open house from 3pm-6pm at Cowboy Jacks, 9010 Quantrelle Ave., Otsego. Food & drinks will be provided. Please come join the family in celebrating Michael’s life.
