Obituary for Mary Butler

Mary Jane Butler, age 71 of Shoreview, MN, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018. She was born to the late Harry & Clara Butler and lived her childhood in Champlin.

Mary attended St. Stephen's school in Anoka through 8th grade and then graduated from Anoka High School in 1964. As a young single adult she joined the Dominic Club where she developed many friends lasting to this day.

She was always eager to travel and went on many trips throughout the America's and Europe. This love of travel led her to a job in the travel industry for the Carlson Companies where she was involved in corporate travel. This was a job she really enjoyed,

Mary never married but enjoyed spending time with her brother Tom's family. She especially enjoyed her little nephews and nieces. Mary also enjoyed games (cards, bingo, board and Wii) which she played regularly with friends.

She is survived by her brother Thomas (Bonnie); nephews Duane and Craig (Anna); great nephews and nieces Joe, Sam (Jennica), Anna, Rachel (Jake), Isabel, Danielle and Joshua; great-great nephews Jack and Ellis; her best friend Rita and many other loving relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial preferred to the family.
