Obituary for Mark Joel Kelley

Mark Joel Kelley, Age 53, of Elk River, passed away on June 11th after a courageous battle with colon cancer which has left our family devastated and heartbroken.

Mark was born in Minneapolis on April 10th, 1970. He grew up in Plymouth and graduated from Osseo High School in 1988. He married the love of his life, Stacy, on July 29,1994; and together they raised their children, Tyler and Megan in Elk River.

Mark worked for the last 9 years at Asphalt Concrete Solutions, Inc. where he developed many lasting friendships and had a successful career in sales. Mark was a devoted father, husband and a loyal friend. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Mark is preceded in death by his father, Bradley Jay Kelley. He is survived by his adoring wife of 29 years, Stacy Kelley; his children, Tyler & Megan; his mother, Sharon (Dungan) Kelley of Maple Grove; his 3 brothers, Jason (Kim) of Maple Grove, Ryan (Katherine) of Minnetrista, and Shawn (Alayna) of Carver; many nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.

A Celebration of Mark's Life is planned for July 22, 2023 at 5PM at the Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, Osseo, MN. Visitation from 3-5PM.
