Obituary for Marjorie Ann Long

Marjorie Ann Long (Grams), age 94, long time resident of Brooklyn Park, left us on July 2, 2024. Marg left behind her loving husband of 71 years, Harry Dennis; son, James; and sister, Corrine Schutte.

Marg's vocation was as a wonderful wife and loving mother, and a third-grade teacher for 37 years in the Osseo School District. She graduated from St. Cloud State Teacher's College and received a master's degree in elementary education from the University of Minnesota in 1977. Marg was an active member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church since 1956. Her hobbies included cooking, decorating and entertaining for every holiday. Marg felt most at home with her husband and son, with a cat on her lap and a dog at her feet. She will be met in heaven by her parents, George & Marie Grams; loving relatives; dear friends; and 4 rambunctious Golden Retrievers.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Monday, July 15, 2024, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93^rd Ave. N., Brooklyn Park, with visitation from 9:30-10:30 AM. Private interment at a later date.
