So involved with so many things: past mayor of Dayton, Three Rivers Parks Commissioner, and Recycling Coordinator for Brooklyn Park.

Survived by husband of 55 years, Jack; children, Julie, Mike, and Bill; 11 grandchildren; sister, Barbara; and a lot of good friends and family.

Funeral Service 11 AM Saturday, July 23, at Zion Lutheran Church, 1601 4th Ave., Anoka. Interment Sunset Cemetery. Visitation 4-8 PM Friday, July 22, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St. NE, Osseo, and 1 hour prior to service at church. Memorials preferred.

Our son recently passed away and of course you never expect to have to deal with this for your children so my wife and I were not only devastated but didn’t know what to do or where to turn next.
