Obituary for Luella Weber

Luella B Weber, 82 passed away Sunday January 21, 2024 peacefully at home in Crystal MN.

She was born on September 14, 1941 on the family farm near Schefield, ND. Luella was the daughter of Leo and Isabella (Emmil) Fitterer. She was the fourth of eight children.

On September 7, 1966 she married Edward Weber. The two of them settled in Minnesota where they raised their two children Darrin and Tanya Weber.

Luella enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening. Her true passion was her family and faith, especially her two grandchildren. Luella was an active member of St. Alphonsus Church for over 58 years.

Survivors include her devoted husband Edward Weber, son Darrin (Jackie) Weber, daughter Tanya (Mike) Weber, grandchildren Colby and Alison Jellum, sister Laverne Binstock, brother Ronald (Patti) Fitterer, sister Linda (Roger) Portscheller, brother Richard (Cindy) Fitterer, sister in-law Jane Fitterer, brother in-law Harry Kanski, brother in-law Leonard Bezdicek.

Luella was proceeded in death by her parents Leo and Isabella, brother Robert Fitterer, sister Loretta Bezdicek, sister Leona Kanski.

Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 7025 Halifax Ave N., Brooklyn Center, MN 55429 with visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Luncheon to follow. Interment at Ft. Snelling at a later date.
