Felling, Lucille “Lucy” age 96, of Maple Grove, passed away peacefully on October 15. Lucy was born & raised on a farm in Sauk Centre, MN with her dad where she ran the horses & hard work was plentiful. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Bernard; infant son, Duane; parents, Peter & Mary; & brother, Julian Orth. Survived by children, Dennis (Veronica), Richard (Cheryl) & Kathleen Felling; grandchildren, Venelli, Isadora & Ella; great-grandchild, Venelli; siblings, Irene (Tony) Felling & Roland Orth; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Pohl, Bernyce Anderson & Virginia Theilen; & many other relatives & friends. In her 20’s she worked as a switchboard operator at the Sauk Centre Girls Boarding school. Lucy worked for Reo Tool & Dye for 25 years as a press operator before retiring. In retirement, she worked as a Para with emphasis in special education. She loved to bake, garden, embroider, spend time with her grandchildren, shop & travel with family & friends. She was an avid dog lover with an affection for American Eskimos, owning at least 6 in her lifetime. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Thursday, October 29, 2020 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93rd Ave. N., Brooklyn Park.
