Obituary for Lori J. Kirschenmann

Lori Kirschenmann, 59, lost her battle with metastasized breast cancer on Feb. 7, 2017. Born August 23, 1957 to Ray and Maxine Kirschenmann in Robbinsdale, MN, Lori grew up mostly in the Dakotas, graduating from Williston (ND) High School, UND-Grand Forks and Pacific University School of Optometry. She knew at an early age that she wanted to be an optometrist and spent most of her career in the Twin Cities.Lori was active in the Brooklyn United Methodist Church and VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity). She participated in many VOSH-sponsored trips to bring free eye care to remote parts of the world. Preceded in death by her father, Ray, Lori is survived by her mother, sisters Jean (Joel Bradshaw) and Donna; her niece Rachel, and nephews David and Todd. Memorial Service 2PM Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017 at Brooklyn United Methodist Church, 7200 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, MN 55429, with visitation one hour prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to VOSH-MN or Brooklyn UMC earmarked for Missions.
