Loren was an extraordinary person who loved fishing, building things, tinkering with vehicles, reading, and above all else, working with his hands. He was well known for his outgoing personality and made instant friends with everyone he met. He was always available to lend a helping hand to anyone in the neighborhood. He had a great sense of humor and loved to tease and "pull one's leg." So many were lucky to call him a friend. He was very talented and preferred a simple way of living, enjoying the quiet life the woods offered him. He will always be remembered as a resilient individual who loved very deeply, even though it was sometimes difficult for him to fully express. We will love and miss him always. He will forever be in our hearts.

Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
