Loren M. Kinghorn, Jr.

Loren Morris, Kinghorn, Jr., passed away May 5, 2025 at the age of 98.  He spent most of his life in the Osseo area.  Loren was a proud Navy Veteran who served from 1944-1946.  He was a serious man who didn't make quick decisions, who pondered.  

Loren loved to work and held many jobs in his life.  Farming, highway construction for the state highway department, building homes at Kinghorn Construction with his father, prestressed concrete with Spancrete, Cretex, and co-founder of Fabcon.  

Loren enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and dancing with his wife of 78 years.  Member of the Amercian Legion, Masons, Scottish Rite, Shriners, Brooklyn United Methodist Church, and Loren was especially proud to be an Osseo Lion for 60 plus years.  

Loren was predeceased by wife Evelyn who passed January 11 of this year.  Also parents, Loren, Sr., and Mary Kinghorn; brother, Robert Kinghorn; sister, Marilyn Georges; son-in-law, Jerry Folwarski; daughter-in-law, Rose Kinghorn.  

Survived by son, Marvin Kinghorn; daughters, Pat (Gerald) Mueller and Bev Folwarski; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott) Koenig, Jaime (Chris) Goller, Suzanne (Ryan) Spencer, Kelley Green, Lindsey (Travis) Morin, and Bethany Folwarski; nine great-grandchildren, Ethan and  Logan Spencer; Maxwell, Owen, Weston Green; Andrew, Lucas, Bradley, Elleanna Morin; brother, Charles (Sue) Kinghorn; sister, Marge (Ed) Mabin; many nieces, nephews, and friends.  

Funeral Service 11AM Friday, May 16, 2025 at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd Street NE, Osseo, MN 55369, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment at Rush Creek Cemetery, Maple Grove, MN.
