Myers, Lois B.

of Brooklyn Park passed away peacefully December 20, 2022 with family by her side. She grew up in north Mpls/ Brooklyn Park area with wonderful memories of time spent with siblings, cousins & friends. She remained friends with high school and college friends throughout her life. She graduated from St. Anthony of Padua HS & then the U of MN in Dental Hygiene. Lois married Claude Myers right out of college. They lived in Seattle, Richfield (where they raised their 3 children), Crosby & finally returned to Brooklyn Park where she lived the rest of her life. She loved the outdoors, especially her cabin on Big Trout Lake on the Whitefish chain. Some of her favorite activities were swimming, ice-skating, cross-country skiing, water skiing, rollerblading, walking & worldwide travel. Her pride and joy were her 3 children, 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Lois was very involved in her church, the BP senior center & she was always doing volunteer work for her community. Lois is survived by her children Mark (Annie), Paul (Mary) & Claudia (Mike) Price, 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren & sister Ella Spanjers. Preceded in death by husband Claude Myers, parents Tony & Anna Spanjers, brothers Robert & Dr. Leo Spanjers. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM on Friday, January 13th, at St Gerard’s Catholic Church in Brooklyn Park with visitation starting at 9:30. Private interment at Fort Snelling at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Gerard's Catholic Church, North Memorial Stroke Program, CEAP, or Alzheimer's Association.

I just can't say enough about the help we received in planning my husband's funeral at the Osseo Evans Nordby funeral home.
