Leo Charles Thole, 77, of Brooklyn Park, MN, passed away peacefully September 2, 2021.

Lee loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, woodworking, and his children.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle; daughter, Lisa Thole of Brooklyn Park; sons, William (Jeanne) Thole of Clarksville, AR, Dr. Robert (Molly) Thole of Reno, NV, and Aaron (Yolanda) Thole of Coppell, TX; grandchildren, Lorelai and Dillon Thole; siblings, Patricia (Joe) Wesley of Hutchinson, MN, Michael Thole of Benson, MN, Lawrence (Sherrie) Thole of Ramsy, MN, Terry (Elaine) Thole of Glenwood, MN, and Mary (Wayne) Maus of Benson, MN; in-laws, Marilyn (Lowell) Marcus of Willmar, MN, Ryan Leimkuhl of Aberdeen, SD, Vicky (Ed) Lauseng of Twin Brooks, SD, Brenda (Lorn) Locke of Sioux Falls, SD, and Darrell Leimkuhl of Watertown, SD; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Preceded in death by parents, Lawrence and Ardena Thole; parents-in-law, Dean and Donna Leimkuhl; and his brothers, Mark (Connie, James, David, and Daniel.

Private family interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.

Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level.
