Obituary for Lawrence "Larry" D. Knutson

Our father Lawrence "Larry" Knutson left this world on December 5 at the age of 78. Larry honorably served in the Army & Air Force National Guard. He worked for SuperValu Warehouse in Hopkins for over 30 years & enjoyed many retirement years spent with friends & family in Maple Grove & "up north" at the cabin. Forever a collector, Larry was fond of working on projects & tinkering on his various treasures.

He will be sadly missed & will always hold a place in our hearts. Survived by wife, Rita; sons, Jason (Cathy) Knutson & Alex (Jenny) Knutson; & brother, Carl (Julie) Knutson. We would love you to join in honoring & celebrating Larry’s life. Mass of Chirstian burial 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 20 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (9100 93rd Ave N., Brooklyn Park, MN) with visitation one-hour prior. Burial with Military Honors 11 a.m. Thursday, December 21 at Fort Ripley Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, we invite you to make a donation to St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church for Mass Intentions in Larry's honor.
