Kevin Somero

Kevin H. Somero, age 73, resident of Brooklyn Park passed away on Thursday, July 10 while in the loving care of his family, and staff members of Anoka Rehabilitation and Living Center. Kevin was born in North Conway, NH on April 11, 1952, the son of Irvin and Natalie Somero. He was a graduate of Belmont High School and Bemidji State College, and he was a longtime employee of Great River Energy. He was a member of the Independent Apostolic Lutheran

Church. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Sharon (Morris) Somero, two children, Adam Somero of Brooklyn Park, MN and Caitlin (William) Morrill of Champlin, MN and grandson Jackson Morrill; sisters Kathryn (Edward) Walters of Marquette, MI; Laurel (John) Blaine of Minneapolis, MN; brothers, Lawrence (Marybeth) Somero of Marquette, MI, and Nathan (Kimberly) Somero of Woodbury, MN; sisters-in-law Margaret Isaacs of Blaine, MN, Laverne (Dave) Piri of Deer River, MN, and brother-in-law Dennis (Barbara) Morris of Cloquet, MN, along with numerous nieces and nephews and a host of brothers and sisters in Faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law and brothers-in-law Charles Morris Jr. and Peter Isaacs. 

The family will greet relatives and friends from 11:00-1:00 followed by the funeral at the Independent Apostolic Lutheran Church, Dayton, MN on Sunday, July 13, 2025. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
