Kevin Reno, a loving husband, father, brother, colleague, and friend, peacefully passed away on January 7, 2026, at the age of 61, surrounded by his wife and daughter. He demonstrated remarkable courage and resilience during his final seven months while battling glioblastoma cancer, with his family faithfully by his side throughout his illness.

Born on September 5, 1964, Kevin was the first of three children to Bernadine and Ken Reno. He is preceded in birth by his brother, Jerry, and his sister, Becky. Kevin’s life reflected his steadfast faith in the Lord, as well as his compassion, integrity, and kindness toward all who knew him. He was a dedicated and respected business owner of Reno Auto Service, proudly serving the community for 36 years.

Kevin found joy in life’s simple blessings, including reading his Bible, spending time by the fire, traveling, baking bread, and photography. A devoted dog lover, he also expressed his faith openly, often wearing Christian shirts as a testament to his beliefs.

Although he valued his privacy, Kevin cultivated meaningful friendships and left an enduring legacy in the lives he touched. He will be remembered for his faith, empathy, generosity, and unwavering commitment to those he loved.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Julia; his daughters, Jessica and Lina (Justin & Justin Jr.); his in-laws, Vasily and Nadia; his brother, Jerry (Mary, Kristen, Katie); his sister, Becky (Jacob, Dylan); and many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

The family invites you to honor the legacy of Kevin Reno on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m., followed by the Celebration of Life at 1:00 p.m., Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd Street NE, Osseo, MN 55369 and a reception at Olive Garden to share memories and fellowship.
