Obituary for Kendra Rae Lindfors

Lindfors, Kendra Rae, age 20 of Champlin, joined her grandfather in heaven on March 12, 2016. Kendra, our “Pretty Girl”, was vibrant, smart, kind, caring, generous, and the best daughter, big sister, granddaughter, cousin, and friend you could ever dream to have in your life. Those who knew her are the luckiest people on earth.

Kendra was a junior at the University of Minnesota studying Speech Pathology and Neuroscience who looked forward to a career devoted to helping people. She loved spending time with family and friends, traveling, music, reading, exploring foods, and trying new activities. She had a love of life and enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, skiing, and rock climbing.

Kendra will always be our ray of sunshine. She brought us incredible joy and left us way too soon.

Survived by parents, Tom & Terri; brother, Cole; grandparents, Larry & Sylvia Giesinger, Irene Lindfors; aunts & uncles, Scott (Sue) Giesinger, Jason (Ashley) Giesinger, Greg Lindfors, Cindy (Steve) Golembuski, Kara (Jay) Gillund; cousins, Joshua & Katelyn Giesinger, Georgia, Amabel, & Willa Giesinger, Ethan & Cate Golembuski, Colin & Quentin Gillund. Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
