Christensen, Kathy A., age 71 of Dayton. Beloved wife, mother, grandma & sister. Died Nov. 26, 2020 peacefully at home surrounded by family.

Preceded in death by loving husband, Bryan; mother, Marlene Gullickson; father, John McGuire II; sister, Linda Haeg. Survived by sons, Joel (Nicole) & Todd (Kim); grandchildren, Austin, Riley, Braden, Dominick, Eliot, Taylor; brother, John (Bonnie) McGuire III; sister, Julie McGuire; brother-in-law, John Haeg; and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Visitation 5-8PM Tuesday, Dec. 8th, by appointment at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd Street NE, Osseo, MN 55369. Please call the funeral home at 763-424-4000 to reserve a time. Private Funeral Service Wednesday at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home with interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.

Kathy was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as grandma. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She had a tremendous ability to be the caretaker for her husband and mother.

Our son recently passed away and of course you never expect to have to deal with this for your children so my wife and I were not only devastated but didn’t know what to do or where to turn next.
