Kathleen "Kate" Ann Berndt, age 49, from Duluth, MN, died unexpectedly September 26, 2025. Kate is preceded in death by her father, Tom Berndt; survived by her mother, Maureen Sneen; stepfather, Arthur Sneen; brother, McLean Thomas (Renee); stepbrothers, Bryan Rickelman (Karen), Kipton Sneen (Brandy), Kirby Sneen (Tamara); great aunt, Marjorie Marie Berndt; nieces, Madeline Griffin, Grace Berndt, Evelyn Berndt; nephews, Griffin Berndt, Aidan Rickelman and Samuel Rickelman. She had many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Katie will be remembered for her open heart and her love of music, art and cinema.
A Celebration of Kate’s life held Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 12:00PM at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd Street NE, Osseo, MN 55369, with visitation starting at 11:00AM. Inurnment at St. John's Cemetery.
