Obituary for Kari Jolene (Masters) Torgerson

Age 50, of Champlin, MN, passed away peacefully at home, September 17th 2020, with her family surrounding her. God took her home after a truly courageous five-year battle with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer.

Kari was born at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale MN, to Diane and Larry Masters. Kari grew up in Ham Lake, MN, and graduated from Blaine High-School. She went on to graduate from Anoka-Ramsey Community College with a nursing degree. She also was a flight attendant for many years with Northwest (Delta) airlines.

Nothing meant more to Kari than family. Her beloved husband Kevin, whom she referred to as her rock. Her children Jake and Sophie were her greatest joy, and she worked relentlessly to build a loving home and life for them.

Kari enjoyed and loved so much in life. Kari had a great love of dancing, cheer leading, singing and seeing the world as a flight attendant. Kari also enjoyed trips to Vegas and as well as tropical destinations with her family and friends. Kari loved family gatherings at any occasion and especially on special holidays.

Kari was generous, caring and a beautiful soul. This world's loss is Heaven's gain.

These people are wonderful. They went over and above in every possible way to help us with funeral arrangements, the visitation, service and burial, despite the fact that we had a limited budget. They were patient, kind, and treated us like family. This is a funeral home you can trust. Thank you, Evans-Nordby.
