Judith "Judy" Halvorson

February 21, 1941 - June 26, 2025

On June 26, 2025, Judy passed away peacefully while living with dementia.

Judy was born Feb. 21, 1941 to Carl & Betty Thomas. She worked as a secretary at many jobs, the last being Qualitek. Judy was married to Orvin Halvorson on Oct. 13, 1967. Judy enjoyed crosswords, sewing, crocheting, reading and genealogy.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ron Thomas; and husband, Orv. She is survived by her children, Paula and Eric Halvorson; granddaughter, Katy (Mark) Dingmann; sister; cousins; nieces and nephews.

Service 11 AM Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment Mound Cemetery, Brooklyn Center.
