Joseph R. Cassidy, 64, of Minneapolis, died August 14, 2025. He was born on September 22, 1960, to Donald and Frances Cassidy in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Joe attended Osseo Senior High and graduated in 1979. He worked as a custodian for Osseo Area Schools from 1979 until his retirement in 2019.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Steve Cassidy.

Survived by siblings Bernadette (Mike) Hines, Thomas (Linda) Cassidy, Eileen (Michael) Herbst, Gerald (Trudy) Cassidy, Katherine (Lee) Arostegui, Michael (Kelly Deines) Cassidy; cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 6th, 2025, from 10AM - 12PM with a tribute to the life of Joe beginning at 11AM at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Center, MN.

In lieu of flowers - meet some friends for breakfast, make somebody laugh, or help a neighbor - just as Joe would have done.
