John Rioux passed away suddenly at home on June 10, 2026. He was a long time employee at Hennepin County and loved hunting and fishing and spending time with his loved ones.

Preceded in death by grandparents, Dawn & Nancy Rioux, William & Judy Fust, Dale Michael Wold; step mom, Deb Wold (Mama Cee); uncles, David and Marty Rioux; aunt, Jody Bednarski; niece, Eriya Fust.

Survived by mother, Maureen Rioux (Kevin); father, Lawrence Wold (Toni); step father, James Fust, grandmother, Mavis Wold; brothers, David (Patty) Fust, Lawrence Wold, Jr.; sisters, Erin Brown, (Immanuel), Daniela Potts, Nicole Yackel, Marti Furchner (Tom); nephews, Eric, Elias, Eemeli, Dominic, Declan, Carson, Jordon, Trevor; nieces, Marilyn, Audahlinn, Amelia, Olivia; best friend, Ted Yung; and many other relatives and friends.

Service 2:30 PM Friday, June 26th, 2026at Evans-Norby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, MN 55429, with visitation starting at 2 PM and lunch to follow.
