Gwynn, John L. age 94 of Brooklyn Park, went home to his Lord and Savior on September 30, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, John; dear mother, Emma; and brother, George. He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years, Mary; 3 sons, Jim (Barb), Tom (Echo), Steve (Karen); daughter-in-law, Pat Gwynn; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 3 siblings, Wally Gwynn, Elaine Bariletti, Ruth (LeRoy) Jackson; and family friend, Diane Hughes. Funeral Service 9:30am, Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home (6000 Brooklyn Blvd. in Brooklyn Center), visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. A special thank you to the staff at St. Therese who became not only caregivers, but extended family.
