John J. Trueman
Age 74 of Brooklyn Park, passed away on August 5, 2016 after a courageous fight against pancreatic cancer for nine years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Florence. A loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, he will be dearly missed by his wife of 51 years, Franny; children, Rick, Bob (Jen), Tom, and Nicole (Jeanine); siblings, Carol, Jim, Paul, Mike, Pat, and Donna; and many other dear relatives and friends. John proudly served in the US Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He worked with Shank Power Products from 1979 to 2006 as a manufacturer sales rep. He enjoyed skiing, golfing, spending weekends at the cabin, and taking family vacations. Visitation 4-7PM Tuesday August 9, Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St NE, Osseo. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30AM Wednesday August 10, St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93rd Ave. N, Brooklyn Park, with visitation one hour prior to Mass. Burial immediately following Mass at St. Vincent’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. www.pancan.org/donate
