Obituary for John Donald Hansen
John Donald Hansen, choir director and football coach at Osseo High School for 41 years, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his beloved family.
He is survived by wife Beverly, sons Tim and Todd (Amy), daughter Tarin, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, and is preceded in death by parents Alice and Herman, and daughter-in-law Deb.
John’s enthusiasm and strength of character inspired and shaped thousands of lives on the field and in the classroom. His life lessons will live on forever.
Visitation Thursday, Oct. 10 at 5-8 PM at Evans Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St. NE, Osseo. Service 11AM Saturday, Oct. 12 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 710 E Broadway, Osseo, with lunch following. Additional visitation Saturday at church at 10 AM.
If so desired, donations may be made to Osseo Football for the Osseo High School Football Team in John's honor.
